Beauty Haul ♥

Hello Lovelies, Tonights post is on my recent little beauty splurge enjoy.

First up we have Loreal True Match foundation in the shade W3 Golden Beige which I brought from Boots for £9.99. Now I wont lie I love my foundations I think there is nothing better than a flawless base, I always tend to keep them quite high end NARS sheer glow being one of my favourites (see full review here) However every time I watch a You Tube tutorial more often than not the girls are using this foundation and they swear by it, it always looks so good on them so curiosity got the better of me and I had to purchase some. I am actually pleasantly surprised at how much I like this foundation it gives a nice coverage I would say medium but most definitely build-able for a full coverage and do you not what it's staying power isn't all that bad either, I always use a primer before I apply any foundation but i honestly thought this would go patchy by about 10am even with primer but it really doesn't and it does a good job of sticking around, I do a 12 hour day and at the end of my day the only places it had gone patchy was on my cheeks a little and chin I never reapply my make up at work as I work with kids so theres no point but I think thats pretty good going for a drug store foundation that was under £10 (just). The finish of this foundation is matte.

Next up we have the much raved about Bourjois Bronzing Primer which was £9.99 from Superdrug, eeeeeek I have wanted this for ages but it has always been sold out so I was very happy when I nabbed one the other day. I must admit when I first saw this in the shops I was like what the hell....To me it looked really dark and a bit scary but when I applied some to my hand I loved how well it blended and how flawless it appeared it's not scary once blended. Phew. It has an amazing chocolate scent so whats not to love about that. I have been applying this under my foundation and I have been loving the natural golden glow it gives off, I have seen some others using it as a bronzer or contour above foundation but I am yet to try it this way. I must say I don't use this as a primer alone I still apply a little of my Benefit Porefessional before hand and then go in with this.

Now we have the ever so famous Baby Lips by Maybelline in Pink Punch £2.99 from Boots, when I was in America I saw these on every shelf in every shop and I could kick myself for not stocking up and bringing them all home as I knew the Uk were raving about them and couldn't wait for them to be launched, however as they are only £2.99 I don't feel to sad. These surprisingly give quite a pigmented colour to the lips I was quite shocked when I applied it in a good way obviously. Pink Punch appears on the lips as a baby pink my favourite kind of pink and they do make your lips feel really moisturised when on, very happy I finally purchased one of these and will most definitely keep my eyes peeled for other shades.

Last up we have one of my holy grails Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment £7.99 from Boots, this is my third tub I love it that much, I actually did a full review on this not that long ago so check that out here. All I will say is that if you have that annoying hair that doesn't like to grow then try this its done wonders for my hair :)

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know your thoughts I always read and reply to my comments so be sure to check back if you ask me something specific. as always thank you for reading girls. Mwah.

Maybelline COLORsensational ♥

Okay so I have a slight new obsession which takes the form of the Maybelline COLORsensational Lipsticks, oh my goodness in love to say the least. So I was aimlessly browsing the shelves of Superdrug as you do and these little beauties caught my eye. It was the neon pink packaging that I was immediately drawn to so I decided to have a look and see what they were about. When I swatched the testers on my hand I absolutely loved how vibrant the colours were and how amazingly pigmented they were they are also Matte which I loveeeee as I'm not really a fan of overly shiny/pearly lipsticks. Superdrug were selling them for £7.99 each which I suppose is a little pricey for drug store but they are so worth it, I brought the only 2 shades they had left so spent near on £16 which is pretty steep but also pretty much the price of just one MAC lipstick so I didn't feel to guilty. The colours I brought were '906 Hot Plum' and '902 Fuchsia Flash' theres not a huge difference between the two colours but once on you can see the differing tones. Fuchsia Flash is a super vibrant hot pink whereas Hot plum has more vibrant purple tones.

Just look at the pigmentation in those lipsticks not to mention the absolutely gorgeous colours. as you can see they are very matte I guess some would find them maybe a little drying on their lips but personally I don't find that they dry my lips out, they also don't clump to any dry skin on the lips which is nice. What I was most impressed about by these was their staying power oh my goodness AMAZING! The colour survives eating and drinking and was still visible when I got home after a night out and I hadn't reapplied any as I'm lazy like that when I'm out lol! These lipsticks almost work as a stain, quite a strange formula I suppose as I'm used to my lipsticks lasting 5 minutes and smudging. I would highly recommend these lipsticks I cant wait to get my hands on the other colours I've seen they do a gorgeous baby pink which I am desperate to get hold of.
Have you tried these before? If so what did you think? I love to hear your thoughts so please leave me a comment :)

Thank you for reading lots of love

GlossyBox Timeeeee//August 2013 ♥

Good Evening Lovelies.
Its that time again already GlossyBox time wahoooooo. I have been lucky enough not to receive a naff box yet so I still get mega excited when I know its on its way to me, I always see lots of people having a little moan about how crappy their boxes sometimes are but so far I haven't been disappointed with mine so fingers crossed they keep impressing me :)
So Augusts box was called Highflyers and this has probably been my favourite one so far.

What Was Inside:

1. Oceane Make-up Remover Pen: I am a sucker for smudging eyeliner on application or blinking and getting mascara dots all over my eyelids so I was really pleased with this little tool.
2 .Emite Make-Up Eyelash Curlers: who doesn't want a new set of eyelash curlers??? and also I love the colour of them.

3. TRESemme Keratin Smooth Rinse Off Treatment: hmmm now I reallllly don't like TRESemme and I would never buy it out of choice only because it never seems to agree with my hair, however I have seen a few bbloggers rave about this product so I shall give it a go none the less.
4. Urban Veda Daily Radiance Face Wash: face washes are always handy and this one seems really natural and smells sooo yummy.
5. Jelly Pong Pong 2in1 Shadowliner In Black: so this works as an eyeliner and eye shadow which I think sounds really cool so look forward to having a play with that although I would imagine I will be using it as a liner more often than a shadow.

So there was the contents of my August GlossyBox, If you get a Glossybox what did you receive in yours and were you happy?! I love to hear your thoughts so please leave your comments.

Loads of Love
