Remington Keratin Therapy Pro Straightener ♥

Helllllllllo.
So I have been on the hunt for a new pair of straighteners, since I can remember I have been a complete GHD slave I felt they were the only straighteners good enough to tame my mane. I have had my current pair of GHDS for about 3 years maybe a little longer and I don't know about you but I find after a few years of regular use they start to become a bit shabby, recently they have really been snagging and snapping my hair so I decided it was time for a new investment and like any beauty blogger I began my research in to the best hair straighteners on the market.
The Remington Keratin Therapy Pro straightener kept coming up on every website I looked at for being one of the best new straighteners I also read a few blog posts and watched a few YouTube reviews on them and everyone had excellent things to say so I decided to give these a try. I found them first in Boots for £90 but luckily I looked around because I came across them in Argos with some money off and brought them for £60.

What's The Deal.
Okay why these straighteners are rated so highly is because the ceramic plates are infused with Keratin Micro Conditioners which transfer to the hair during styling. Keratin is the key structural component to hair so that's what makes it strong and healthy so that drew me to these even more, they also claim to cause 57% LESS damage to hair than regular straighteners which is great. I had actually been laying off my straighteners for a while and only really used them if I was going out so now with these I don't have to feel as guilty when I straighten my hair as I did before. They also have an exclusive heat protection sensor and when switched on it constantly optimises the temperature to prevent damage, so it senses the weaker parts of your hair and applies less damaging heat to those areas. Also the keratin infused in the plates is said to last the life of the straighteners and they come with a 5 year guarantee.

Product Spec.

My Thoughts.
I am really loving these straighteners 10/10 from me, my main concern was that they weren't going to straighten my hair as well as my GHDS but they work perfectly if not better in my opinion and they leave my hair looking sleek and shiny I use them on the heat setting 200. I used to find when I straightened my hair before it showed up all my spilt ends and made it look as if a goat had been chewing on my ends however this masks spilt ends a lot more resulting in healthier looking hair. I am still going to lay off the heat as I was before as no heat is good for your hair but as I said before when I do now reach for the straighteners im not over come with guilt. I would highly recommend these and they are A LOT cheaper than GHDS or other salon brands around, just be sure to have a little mooch around so you can find the best price :)

Have you used these? what are your favourite styling tools? I love to hear all your views so feel free to leave me a comment I always reply and appreciate every comment I receive.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment ♥

Hello Lovelies.
I Hope your all well and enjoying this gorgeous weather. This evenings post is on the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment its actually named 'For Hair that Never Grows Past A Certain Length' but that's very long winded so lets stick with hair growth treatment. So last month me and a friend were in Boots and we saw this product, Lee Stafford products always stand out to me because well if you didn't guess there pink amazing. Anyways so we saw this and had a read through what it promised and liked what we saw so we both purchased a tub.

Product Info:
'Hair Growth Treatment with Pro-Growth Complex for strength within, a protein based complex to fertilize your follicles creating a healthy environment on the scalp to help hair grow faster and reach maximum potential length' .

Now I don't know about you but I am a sucker for anything which claims to help my hair grow and with a clever name like this product girls will pick this up all day long even though deep down we have our doubts about if it will ACTUALLY help our hair grow. Its a 200ml tub and costs £7.99 from Boots, you are advised to use an egg (yes egg???) sized amount on your hair after you have shampooed and then your to leave it for 5 minutes wash off and condition as usual, it smells lovely like all the Lee Stafford Products and is slightly pink in colour.

My Thoughts:
So I was itching to start using this even though in the back of my mind I was like this is never going to work in a million years. After the first use I was pleasantly surprised my hair felt and looked amazing, really shiny, frizz free and full of life, result. I like. When you apply the product it feels quite heavy and thick on the hair so I was a bit worried it would make my hair greasy but it didn't at all, after a few more uses I really started seeing a difference in my hair it was healthier and much thicker and by the end of my first tub I had noticed a bit of length wahooooo, now im not saying I woke up looking like Rapunzel that would of been fab but we defiantly have some growth coming along and a few people have even said to me my hairs grown yaaaaay. My friend who also brought this has been using it regularly and her hairs looking lovely and healthy too (we both had slightly colour/heat damaged blonde hair). I am now on my second tub and absolutely loving it, this product has fast become my holy grail and will have a firm place in my hair routine for a long time :)
One tub lasts me about a month maybe just under as using an egg sized amount every time is quite a lot but I don't think £7.99 is that bad compared to other hair treatments I have owned also boots more often than not have offers on so that's a good chance to stock up.

Have you used this before? If not what are your top products or tips for healthy hair and growth I would love to hear your thoughts so please leave me a comment :)

Beach Hair Without the Beach ♥

Hello my lovelies I hope your all well.
So summer is on the horizon and I don't know about you  but I like to make my 'summer' beauty routine as simple and as natural as possible especially when it comes to my hair. I thought I would share with you the products and tools I use to create 'Beach waves' on my hair, I love the 'beachy' look its perfect for summer and so quick and effortless to achieve.

So there's a few posey piccies just to show you how my hair looks.

The Products And Tools Used.

Wash and dry your hair as you normally would, I often find it works better if you allow your hair to dry naturally but if you don't have the time or patience for this then it will still work perfectly on 'rough' blow-dried hair, also apply any leave-in treatments or heat protectors that you usually would use this wont affect the outcome at all.

So once my hair is dry I use my Mark Hill 'Wicked Wave Wand', when I first got this I thought I would be sitting in front of the mirror for hours like I did when I used to use a curling tong but my god this is the BEST hair tool ever the results it gives are amazing and its so quick to use, I would say to get all my hair wavy it takes me about 10 minutes if that even when I am wearing my extensions which are 22" it still takes only 10 minutes or so, I'll find a picture of me with my extensions in so you can see the results on longer hair also.

Once I have waved my Hair with my Wave Wand I use Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray, This is a Great product and an amazing dupe for the famous Bumble and Bumble surf spray. I spray a load in to my hands and then scrunch my hair from root to tip and shape it how I want to, by all means spray it directly on to your hair I just find it easier putting in in to my hands. It has great staying power and really does hold your style and it smells lovely and summery also.

My hair is very thick and frizzy so just for extra insurance I also use 'V05 Give me  texture Tousled spray' again I spray this in to my hands and scrunch it through my hair, this product isn't a salt spray more of like a gel/hairspray but IT DOES NOT make your hair crispy at all, its still very movable and soft to touch.

Lastly just for that Big Hair look I use 'V05 plump It Up Dry Backcomb Spray' This is a root booster so I spray on to my roots and rough my hair up, it saves backcombing your hair as this spray does it all for you. perfect.

when im in a rush or feeling lazy I skip the Wave Wand and Apply the salt spray directly to wet hair and leave it to dry naturally it still gives really lovely results when used this way. Salt spray would be a winner to take on holiday especially if your like me and constantly in and out of the pool, avoid those bad pool hair styles by spaying this in after your swim :)

I hope you have enjoyed my post please leave me you comments I will always reply to you, what products do you love for your hair? If you have any suggestions let me know I always love to find new products :)

Ohh just quickly here is a photo of me wearing extensions which I have styled with my Wave Wand.

Lots Of Love
